This is the most recent version into Audi A4 line up, it was released in 2007 and it is still in production, the design of the chassis in this vehicle has been greatly improved comfort to other versions -- the front axle was moved forward in relation to the engine which offers benefits in terms of stability and weight distribution, this vehicle is also said to share characteristics found in the Audi A5 coupé. The 2009 projected version includes several innovations which are mostly related to the engine, the experimental version uses a EA 888 engine which is more eco-friendly, this version has been developed in order to address issues related to power, fuel efficiency as well as emissions. The B8 was first introduced to the market in September of 2007 and it was featured in the Frankfurt auto show, the Avant version was unveiled in the Geneva auto show in 2008. Since the engine has been moved forward there is of course a better weight distribution so the front: rear weight ratio is of 45:55 respectively, the weight distribution also depends on the chassis that the buyer selects as well as the engine. In order to increase the legroom of the rear passengers the length of this vehicle has been increased about 12 cm.
