Can you conceive of a future where human drivers become one with their vehicles; one with the machinery? Where the human body has tentacles or organic ports to plug into the vehicle and the vibrational energy of the body would run the electronic which were super energy efficient and super low wattage? Like LED chips, sensors and devices, which picked up the human commands to steer the car?.No more people being unengaged in their driving, they would be definitely fully engaged wouldn't they? Does this topic sound too over the top; too alien or Sci Fi to you? If so perhaps that makes sense, but it is not an off limit topic of conversation to researchers in an online think tank. In fact one member Swift from Las Vegas states;."I would really like to see vehicles of the future to be tied in with humans more rather than just a piece of machinery we sit in and drive.
".Indeed, you will and this will be a fun innovation and smart too for many reasons.I like the idea and understand the concept, very well and have so many ideas about how to make it work too. It can be done, of course some people will be fearful of it all, they should not be it will be such a simple thing really.
Many people now have prostheses that work like this too. It is just an extension of self, an add-on. You know it is too bad every one is so fearful of this and the Sci Fi writers bring these things forth and people decry such technologies.But soon people will have artificial knees, hearts and things that will work as good or better than original OEM human bio-system hard (soft shell) ware? Consider all this in 2006.
